ABOUT THE ROLE
We are a Nepali product company building an AI product for businesses. We're hiring a Sales Manager to drive growth in the Nepali B2B market — owning the revenue target, leading the sales team, and working closely with our external marketing agency.
This is a player-coach role. You will manage the team and also be in customer conversations, running demos, and closing key accounts yourself. You'll report directly to the CEO.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Revenue & pipeline: Carry and deliver monthly and quarterly targets. Manage the pipeline end-to-end and forecast weekly to the CEO.
- Team leadership: Lead, coach, and grow the team of 2 sales executives. Set targets, run weekly 1:1s, and hire as we scale.
- Sell, personally: Own and close strategic accounts. Run discovery and demos with senior buyers (CXOs, Heads of Operations, Heads of Digital). Translate AI capability into business value for non-technical buyers.
- External marketing agency: Be the day-to-day point of contact. Brief them on segments and messaging, review their work, and ensure marketing-generated leads convert.
- Process & systems: Maintain CRM hygiene, build sales playbooks, define the KPIs that matter.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 3–5 years of B2B sales experience with a clear track record of hitting quota.
- 1–2 years leading or mentoring sellers.
- Strong written and spoken English and Nepali.
- Comfort selling technical / software products to non-technical buyers.
- Highly organized with CRMs, forecasts, and reporting.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience selling SaaS, enterprise software, or AI/data products.
- Network in Nepali enterprise verticals: banking & fintech, telecom, BPO/ITeS, e-commerce, or large conglomerates.
- Experience working with external marketing agencies.
